You board on our wooden boat to absorb the sights, while experiencing the surprisingly peaceful sensation of being on the river. This is the only exciting way to discover Bangladesh. You stop on many Villages, bazaars, see the real life style and enjoy the different folk cultural programs in different villages in the evening. A cruise on Meghna, Ganges, Brahmaputra and other rivers will introduce you to riverine Bangladesh and her history, culture and life style. It is like a documentary filming before your eyes.

You board on our wooden boat (Engine Driven) to join this adventure. Explore the remote island villages of the widest river of Bangladesh that are only accessible by boat. Know lifestyle of island people. Stop at any island in the middle of river, swim and have more fun. Enjoy the hilsa fishing and the activities of villagers. On way back, visit Sonargaon, which was the first capital of Bengal (13th to 17th Century) a traditional Bangladeshi or Chinese food will serve at lunch.
Depart Dhaka at 9 am from your nominated pick up point, you will board to the boat at Bouddhar Bazaar which is 29 km from Dhaka and takes about an hour to reach. We shall drop you at your residence/hotel after the tour in the evening.

Cruises on Ganges River
Leave Dhaka at 9 am for Maowa Ghat to cruise on the most Holy River of Indian sub-continent. The journey will take a bit more than an hour. After boarding the boat, cruise down the Ganges and enjoy the view of the River. It is fantastic, especially during the early hours. Small little fishing boats and the row of green trees along the bank disappeared into misty distance as they followed the curve of the River. A full morning exploring the riverside lifestyle, visiting a village, meeting the villagers. Before having a traditional Bangladeshi lunch on the boat, free for swimming and exploring the surrounding area. Leave the boat at 4 pm and arrive here at Dhaka in the evening.

ITINERARY 01:
Day-01: Dhaka to Morolgonj by Paddle wheel steamer
In the afternoon (16:00 hrs), we start journey to Sadarghat steamer port. After arrival at Sadarghat accommodate the Rocket steamer & start cruise at 18:30 hrs. The famous paddle wheel steamer (now converted from steam to marine diesel engine) on ward to Morolgonj under Bagerhat. Night pass in the 1st class AC cabin on the boat. Overnight at steamer.

Day-02: Full day cruise by Paddle wheel steamer to Morolgonj
After full day cruise Rocket will arrive Morolgonj by 16-17 hrs. Drive to Bagerhat by AC car to visit the historical sixty domes Mosque and The world heritage site along with other historical places of nearby areas. Transfer to Hotel Passur** by the river bank and overnight stay at hotel Pasur
Day-03: Full day trip to Sundarbans
After early breakfast board the tourist boat (fiber boat) towards Sundarbans mangrove forest (2 hrs journey) through the Passur River and visit the Karamjal panoramic tourist Resort and salt water crocodile’s arboretum. You can walk through a wooden path deep inside the forest (1/2 km) to observe the forest vegetation and the wildlife like spotted deer, Monkeys wildfowl and beautiful birds. We will spend whole day by cruising different rivers and canals up to Harbaria forest point to feel the forest from very close with a rare chance to see a tiger and the fishermen. Return to Mongla and overnight at Jessore Hotel.

Day 03: Early morning, immediately the boat will start cruising towards the Sundarbans Forest. We’ll arrive at Kotka around 1600 hrs. In the late afternoon hiking in the Kotka forest area to see wild life and forest. Overnight at Kotka on the boat.
Day 04: Early in the morning we shall offer trip through small creeks and canals by country boat to see the wildlife and feel the forest from very close. After breakfast Jungle walk, etc will be offered. At around 12:00 hrs start cruising towards Kochikhali wildlife sanctuary, upon arrival Jungle walk near forest office. Bar – B – Q dinner on boat & overnight on the boat at Kochikhali. Overnight on the boat at Kochikhali.
Day 05: Early in the morning we shall offer trip through small creeks and canals by country boat, leave Kochikhali for Mongla. From Mongla to Jessore by reserved car and by evening flight back to Dhaka from Jessore.
